The Copper axolotls are a special type of albino.   They can vary in color from a light to dark copper tone.  They have slightly reddish eyes. 

 

Our breeder axolotl, "Bissell" is an example of a Copper.   Bissel can take on a more chocolate colored hue and is darkening with age.   Bissel is unique in that he/she is a "spotted" Copper.   He has cute little dots all over his body!  

 

The first Copper lines originated in the United States.  They are also very popular in Germany and Australia.   Their coloring reminds me of fall.   :)  So pretty!
